Chamber holds social event — honors Prescott

Over 40 people gathered for the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday, March 21. The chamber held a social meeting with light agenda, inviting members of the community, village administration, school district and county and state government to the Mill Street Inn and Pub. Owners of the Mill Street Inn and Pub offered to donate half of the proceeds made at this dinner back to the chamber. The dinner raised $205 that will be placed in the chamber’s general fund to be used for upcoming events. in a show of support for Cambridge, Senator Scott Fitzgerald and Representative Dave Ward attended, talking with local business owners and village officials. Over a light buffet meal and drinks, members discussed various events and ideas ongoing in the area while Marian Korth played the piano.
