Sounds of battle erupt as swords clash and armor and leather collide. Helms and shields bear the symbols of teh Celtic knights fighting as they hone their skills in defense of their king. Three years ago at the Cambridge Renaissance Faire, The Tribe of the Blue Rose made tis public debut as a Romano British Celtic reenactment group. The tribe currently consists of six fighting knights lead by their high king, or Ard Righ, two ladies and several other craftsmen, artisians adn children. Each member of teh tribe has adopted a component and skill formhistory and made it their own Leatherwork, beadwork, chainmail, carving stone and wood, embroidery, lampwork (glass bead creating), building armor, making period clothing and studying the history of tribalism during the 5th-8th centuries A.D. are part of the activities the group embraces.
