Cambridge students help with Earth Day cleanup

On Friday, April 15 you may have seen groups of high school students on the side of the rad wearing flashy yellow vests and carrying trash bags. These were not students who were in trouble and had to blean up for their detention, but students volunteering their time to help clean up the Cambridge/Oakland area in honor of Earth Day.

Over 100 students from assorted science and agriculture classes and study halls throughout the day participated in the cleanup. The students helped pick up the areas at Cam-Rock I and II, Highway A from Highways 12 and 18, Park and Ripley Roads, and the Koshkonong Creek from the outlet at Highway 18 and continuing through town to the Cam-Rock trail. …
