A Journey to Lions

Frank Mulyadi’s daily routine leads him through a poverty-stricken area of Jakarta, Indonesia. He and his friends would travel this route every day,
encountering families living in deplorable conditions. With no fixed
incomes, many families made their meager livings from recycling garbage,
surviving on what they could carry to the recycling facility on foot. Their
children often become street children, also forced to do whatever it takes
to earn money to survive. Many in this situation resort to begging or even
turn to illegal means.
