Nearly one-third of Australia’s 1,375 Lions clubs raise awareness of eye
disease through SightFirst’s Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP). To prevent blindness from glaucoma and diabetes, Australian Lions partner with other major eye health groups, maintain a LEHP Web site and even translate materials for immigrant groups. But now the Lions there are taking their efforts to a whole new level.
