Pastor Castro shares new way of preaching in Latvia

Pastor Bob Castro of Rockdale Lutheran Church has just returned from his 17th trip to Latvia where he spent time preaching, singing to the children adn sharing his ideas on a new way of preaching that takes into consideration the changes in society. Castro started his trips to Latvia as a lawyer in September of 1992. He was a legal consultant in Latvia at the time, but also had given a lto of time helping the church back home, which opened the door to his Latvian excursions.
The reason they were interested in having me go to Latvia is because I was teaching middle school Sunday School, I had been a lay confirmation teacher, I had led Bible studies and I had been preaching asa lay person. So, alot of the things I was doing in Latvia were already ministry-related adn things I would do as a pastor.
