Minutes of October 19, 2005 meeting

Special guests were Jana and Judy from the Citizens State Bank, and Gary Friesland, all prospective new members.
We will ask Christina Bower to attend the January 2006 meeting.
Gene Jorgensen and Butch Bergholz volunteered to handle the mint distribution.
Don Draeger volunteered to take on the Piggly Wiggly receipts job.
Tickets for the Valentine Raffle are in progress.
Don’t forget the 27-A1 Convention at the Abby in January 2006.
Lions Bowling event will be in January 2006 on a Friday night. Friday, January 13th has been selected as the date. It will be a Scottish doubles — moon light - 9 pin tap event.
The November 16th anniversary party is all set. Gary had 16 members at the last meeting say they were coming. If you were not at the meeting or did not indicate your intention of coming, please call Gary at 608 212-6330 or me at 423-4244. We want to give the restaurant a fairly accurate count so they will have enough food on hand. We appreciate your help on this.
Remember the Craft Fair set us starts at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4th at the high school. On Saturday November 5th at 4 p.m. we need help taking it down.
