This is a voluntary activity, so that we could ler Wisconsin soldiers know that we are still thinking about them day in and day out.

The 5th graders brainstormed ideas of what soldiers might enjoy receiving. Some students went home abd asked their parents who had served in the Armed Forces. After talking with Liz Nitardy and others, it was decided to send 1800 pieces of junk food and several dozen notes and pictures to our extended family located in and around Iraq.
